Resonance Book One: Birds Of Passage | Ben White | $3.99 $0.99 | Amazon | Amazon UK

“It’s a terrible story, really. Horrid and painful and, ultimately, rather pitiful. Young people developing strange powers, of course reactions to that aren’t going to be positive–a girl whose spirit writhes with lightning, another who hurts as much as she heals, a young lady who bends emotion to her whim, a boy whose essence literally burns, how could their stories be anything but tragic?”

“What more could they expect than conflict, hardship, loss… hope? Aha. Well. Yes, I see you’re one of those, one who still ‘believes’. Answer me this, then. Where could hope be found, in this ruin of an existence?” Honestly, I am asking. Where?”

108 Replies to “St. Patrick's Day Blowout! 30 Great Books by 26 Authors, All Reduced to 99c!”

  1. Like a dutiful, diligent pupil, I have tweeted about this. Because I think it’s a great bargain and a huge variety of books – something for everyone! But, if I win, panic not if there’s no reply for a while, as I am moving house this weekend and will have no Internet connection for… well, however long the French authorities deem proper and fitting….

    1. Thanks Diane. And yes, you are #2. Right now, that means you have a 50% chance of winning. I wouldn’t recommend holding off on these deals though – I have a sneaking suspicion their might be quite a few more entrants! Apparently, I can’t enter myself, which seems terribly unfair! To make up for it, I’m going to buy a whole bunch of cheap books!

Good luck with the comp! Thanks for playing!

  2. Tweet sent, Dave. Best of luck to you guys! And let’s not forget St. Paddy in all of this. Didn’t he banish Big Six publishers from Ireland? No, wait, that’s not it…

      1. Love it.
This one’s so old you can see through it, and it has nothing to do with St. Paddy, but…

A tourist was walking down a street in Dingle and saw an old man sitting in the sun. The tourist walked up to him and asked, “Sir, have you live here all your life?”

The old man looked at the tourist and said, “Not yet.”

  3. Good Morning. The tweet has been sent! Now I’m off to buy some of these books for my weekend reading. Always happy to support the indies!

  4. Just tweeted and bought one also bc I couldn’t wait till Monday to see if I won. Yeah, impulsiveness is a problem. In that same vein, I will be drinking lots of green beer tomorrow and will make sure to toast you.

  5. I just tweeted!!! Wonderful collection of books. I wish you a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow!!!!

  6. I want to enter the contest but have NEVER tweeted before. The post says it’s simple …paste and copy and then go where?
    Sorry guys — so techno-challenged!
But thanks for all the great selection of books.

  7. I tweeted because I like your selection of books too. Great variety. I rarely win anything so I think i have already picked out some favorites to buy … Good luck fellow contest applicants. P.S. Michelle Muto – thanks for the tweet that led me here!:-)

  8. There are some good books among this list!! I shared on my Facebook page. I have no idea how to tweet. 🙂

  9. Michael Wallaces blurb scares me. I think I am going to be compelled to read the book but I can’t imagine its not going to keep me up all night.

  10. I don’t tweet but I posted the comment on my wall of Facebook, I have a lot of fellow readers I’ve introduced to you. I have purchased one book already. Now I’m off to look at the others!

  11. Duly Tweeted. Though I would have done so anyway since it’s such a good deal. But hey, if I score a win as well, I won’t complain.

  12. These selections look interesting, I am ready to sit or curl up with a new book each day. Being retired has its advantages! Thank you so much.

  13. Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that, as an Irishman, it’s my patriotic duty to go out and join the, ahem, festivities today. All entries are being recorded automatically. If you aren’t on Twitter, you can share on Facebook, Google+, or just email your friends (we trust you). Come back and tell us though, or we won’t have your email address!

  14. I tweeted and FB – glad to share the ideas of different Authors to my friends; how else do we learn who is good? The “Front” table @ a mega-bookstore? hey want to sell $$$ books, not introduce uncommon writers.

  15. Just posted – tweeted and Fb’d… But I wanted to add one more thing. I NEVER win anything, and I couldn’t afford to buy more than 1 or 2 if I had to pay full price. So, I just bought all the ones (mostly) that seemed interesting. If I do win… pass the win along to the next person cuz I now have the ones I want (at this great price)! Thanks for the list and chance at indie authors.

  16. Thank you for putting this “Blowout” together. The book selections are interesting and varied. This is a great way to find new authors to read.

  17. I tweeted, I Google+, and I posted on my Facebook page, cause I have friends who love their eBooks and Kindles, and Amazon, and they love to read, and get great deals!

  18. Just wanted to let you know I posted it again today to my facebook page using a different book cover for the post than I used yesterday! Lots of my friends read as much as I do (which is every day)!
Thank you again for putting together this great variety of books. Good luck everyone!
    Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

  19. I’ve tweeted and posted on Facebook. It would be very exciting to win, but I’m not going to trust that I would win. There are several I’m off to purchase; if by any chance I do win, I have friends to gift with the extra copies!

    Happy St. Paddy’s day!

  20. I put it on Twitter and Facebook. It would be great to win, good luck to everyone. Have a great St, Patricks Day. Hopefully no one will be feeling green tomorrow, LOL.
