One of the first things a writer notices when they join the self-publishing community is that it really is a community. We all pitch in to help each other. We share tips on editors, formatters, and cover designers. We recommend promo venues and warn about scams or bad deals. And we cheer each other’s successes and commiserate when someone hits a roadblock.
